On a related note, who is pumped to see Matt & Kim and Amanda Blank?! They are playing a free show at Parkland College on September 13! I have always been a major Matt and Kim fan, but this moment at Pitchfork stole my heart. That night, they also covered Dead Prez, gave Lucknow and I free PBRs at an underground fight club, and signed my “Yeah Yea” vinyl. Swoooooon.

Physical Challenge is a student-run dance night in Champaign-Urbana. Each week the resident djs offer up a fun blend of house and electro to growing crowds. Started in the beginning of 2009, Physical Challenge has grown to be run by three student djs: Famicom, Lucknow, and CZO. Each dj rotates every week with their own style, special guests, and club concept.
